While the Farmer's Sleeping
During the summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to be the artist-in-residence at the Glen Arbor Arts Center. In the beautiful sandy hills of the Leelanau Peninsula, I carved, printed, and brainstormed compositions for the pages of this long awaited book.
No publisher is attached, yet, it's just a story I've had in myhead for years and I'm excited to finally be putting it to paper. I will update this page often, as well as my instagram (@printsbyjodie). My goal is to have all the pages carved by the end of the year, then print and assemble during the early months of 2026.
I'm collecting contact information for publishers now, and will actively begin submitting when I have something closer to a finished product. Though, any help is welcome in this game of "who-you-know."
The plan is to complete each page like the one shown to the right. I hand paint the paper, then cut out each layer to be glued down (picture does not show that yet)
